Full page Java based menu?

Has anyone implemented a full page java based menu for categories / brands as can be seen in this example?

I am contemplating to install something similar on a store with a stack of brands and/or categories.

Checked Dynamic Drive to no avail.

Any hints where I could obtain the script from please....?

Are you referring to the mega-menu in the header? That looks like it's just CSS.

My first reaction is that particular implementation is rather gigantic and obtrusive. I feel like I'm getting lost when it activates and covers the whole page, it's so big that it pushes the entire main content out of view and I have to click around to find a way to close it.
Of course, once I've clicked around a bit, I finally "get" how it works. But isn't the whole idea to make things simpler, and not more confusing?

It is the 'Shop by Brand' and 'Shop by Category' menus I am referring to.
