need some help with customizing

how can we make the terms and conditions be a popup we need customers to check the box to agree to the terms and conditions. the problem is right now when you fill out the information and click the here to read the terms and conditions it opens in the same window and when you go back it deletes everything from the page.

I installed FEC 1.11.0 and i need the Terms and conditions link in the checkout process to open in a new window because it deletes the boxes that are filled in when you click it and it opens in the same window now

ok i got this one figured out i had to change the file in my templete instead of the one in the templete default

You should never alter files in template_default - - They should be copied and placed in your template overrides
