When I get an email when a customer register an account. Then in the subject line says this:
[CREATE ACCOUNT] Weclcome to Morris Gift Shop
Is the [CREATE ACCOUNT] normal?

Yes, the "admin copy" of those emails often has a [PREFIX] in the subject line.
You can edit those in your email_extras.php language files (one in storefront and one in admin).
