    Default How to change site SQL cache method?

    Hi,

    I just installed ZC 1.5.1 and have added a bunch of mods. Soon after adding a template with a bunch of demo products I began experiencing performance issues.

    I set the site up to not use file or db cache. To see if it will make any difference, I'd like to switch cache methods to use sql caching.

    Is it as simple as changing the two config files? Or do I also need to make some change in the admin area?

    Sorry if this has been asked/answered already. Searched the forum before posting!

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi Kobra,

    Thanks for the link.

    I changed one entry in each config file:
    USED TO BE: define('SQL_CACHE_METHOD', 'none');
    IS NOW: define('SQL_CACHE_METHOD', 'database');

    Is that it? No further steps necessary?

    Thanks,
    Mike
