Installing addon and plugin

I try install plugins and addons but I not get it installed.
for example http://modhole.com/modhole/index.php?module=wiki&page=EpInstall
I follow the instruction but nothing happens.
Can reason be file and directory rights?
some instruction I read that there must be "temp" directory... Where it should be and what is correct rights for directory?

If you are using Zen Cart v1.5.1 as the thread title says, you need to install Easy Populate 4. Admin page creation has changed since Langer's version. There is a support thread for it which will give all the information you need.

Correct. The version of EP on that modhole site is extremely old and not compatible with modern versions of Zen Cart. It's unsurprising that you'd have problems using it.
