Default Layout Boxes Controller.php link under tools?

I have reinstalled a new copy of Zen many times and I keep getting the following issue.

Install fine no errors all function seems fine

    EXCEPT
    Under tools>layout_controller

This points to Layout Boxes Controller.php which obviously doesn't exist.

Where is this controlled so I can edit the link under this menu? I looked in the db and see nothing and looked under layout_controller.php also don't see nything pointing this way. Plus used developers toolkit also nothing that shows when filtering this problem.

Any ideas? Is there a file I can reload/alter someplace?

Are you really saying you have a link with text layout_controller that points to Layout Boxes Controller.php? That is the opposite of what it should be, and could only happen by some weird corruption of files or database. I think it would have to be the content of two fields in a db table getting switched.

Have you tried a fresh download of the fileset? If there is some error in the first one you downloaded, it would create the same problem every time you tried to install it.

I deleted everything db everything entire subfolder so nothing remained from prior install on a new MT DV4.

And yes it's clearly a typo of some kind. I am about to take my install pull the admin config file and rewrite the entire admin folder with the unzipped files from this downloads section to see if this solves the problem as perhaps something happened during the unzipping process while installing?

No Joy overwriting the admin folder with a fresh one. Yes I deleted the original and installed the admin config back in.

Is there something I should look at in the db? Doesn't seem to me the db would have anything to do with the link under the tools menu it's pointing to wrong place which would be php I think???

    Still have problem

If I readdress the link to correct place layout_controller.php works fine manipulating stuff all over in there no problem so it's isolated in non-function to the actual link seems to have no other impact but for inconvenient.

The thing is that if there is one error of this type, there could be others. It's not something that can just randomly happen the same way over different downloaded filesets and installs, so something in your environment must be causing it.

All the menu entries are stored in the database, and a fresh clean install doesn't exhibit the symptoms you describe.
So, that tells me that "something" has altered your database contents for the admin menu.
And that makes me suspect either the plugins you've installed or someone tampering with the database.

    Thanks Doc

It was a clean install nothing was altered in any way this was step one during setup. Perhaps some help to others it happened to me several times on MTDV's so another lesson learned and an hour wasted. Never ends
