How to put attribute images in a row

I have looked for the answer, but still cannot make the changes. I have attribute images for colour, 7 in total, with size 100px x 100px each. By default they appear on top of each other, forming a column on the left of the page. I would like to have them located in few rows, with as many in a row as can be fitted.

There is a <br class="clearBoth"/> which is automatically added to each attribute image. It seems to me those should be removed, but I don't know where or how.
Or may be there is another way of getting all attribute images in rows?

found it. just put a number for row into options manager.
