Fixed shipping weight price

I could really use some help on this one thanks.

Okay basically I'm trying to set up fixed weight shipping prices so for example

customer buys items A that goes under 1 kg = x price

customer buys items A and B that goes over 1kg would come to 2kg = y price

customer buys items A, B and C which comes to weight of 3kg = z price.

and finally A, B, C, and D over 3kg is free.

is there anyway I can do this?

Are you concerned about the Product or the weights of the Products?

Table Rate allows you to set rates based on Price, Item count or Weight ...

I've tried that and it does not seem to be working basically what I want is any items below 1kg will be £3.60, £4.20 for any items above the 1kg to 2kg and finally 8.99 for any items total above 2kg.

What results are you getting?

Did you check the settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... and ensure that your Tare Rates are set to 0:0 to that they are not adding additional weight to the order?

What settings are you using in the Modules ... Shipping ... Table Rate table when you click on this shipping module and look in the right hand panel?

okay basically we have a fixed price of 360 for posting because the weights do not work, we then have another per unit for £6.54p and finally a free service. I'm fairly new to Zen Cart and didn't set up this site at all, so I don't know how this stuff works.

Now that I set the Tare weights of both, the 'Per Unit' is now £4.54.
