Multiple category boxes

I'm wanting to set my zen cart up so that there are 2 categories boxes instead of one..

I want one to show items in the store by item type (eg: cushion covers, tablecloths, etc) and the other to show items by design/style...

Is there anyway of doing this?

Using linked products, you can make a set of categories organized by type, and a set of categories organized by style. Each product can be shown in all appropriate categories. Then you can use Categories Dressing from Plugins to group your categories under headings and add whatever comments/notes will be helpful.
