Hi

I am new to using zen cart and this is confusing me a bit

i uploaded a few new items about 5 days ago and added pictures for them no problem
no they are no where to be found its almost like it has reverted back to a previous version
but i have made no changes.

now when i try to add a product it takes all the details but will not display the picture due to this error
Error Error: Catalog images directory is not writeable: /home/newbabyg/public_html/images/

this comes up when i click on categories/products dropdown in the admin area

can someone give me the idiot guide to fixing it please :)

any help would be gratefully received

I would try to change the folder home/newbabyg/public_html/images to 755. You can do that through your Cpanel or FTP program. FTP program you just right click an go to file permissions. Change checks to get 755. That will make the file writeable you can do the same on Cpanel. I use filezilla for FTP.

it would appear that when i changed host companies a few weeks ago it has not gone as smoothly as first thought
so they are looking into it for me :)
