order hold status for Wholesale customers

Hello all,

I do have some Wholesale customers and what I would like to do is have Zencart put their orders on hold so I can figure the stock, update their order, and release/update them for payment.

I mean, I want the wholesalers to put all their information ( order & payment credit card )and for the payment to be in hold until I make sure every style is in stock. So before i approve for the payment to go thru I can also be able to modified the order with the right amounts for each style and total charge. Everything to be finish online.

Is there a way to do this through Zencart the way it stands or do I need some sort of module?

If you are using a gateway for credit card payment - you can select to "Authorize" only and not capture
This will allow you to do what you need and later capture the payment
A plugin "edit orders" will also allow you to edit orders from the admin side to adjust what you might not have
