    Default attribute maddness

OK after 2 hours searching the forum and 3 hours playing around in the admin panel i have had it with this cart

HOW does one add a simple attribute to a product , and why is there no clear simple way to add it, this has to be the single most stupid method to add a attribute to any cart i have ever seen and wasted so much time.

    What i need is this:

How do i add a simple ( and this shouldn't take more then 5 seconds not hours geeze) Large . Med . SM . XL to a product.

why do they make it so damn complicated to just add simple things like this it makes no sense at all

I need a clear step by step so it works the forum is so full of misdirecting information i cant even sort it out and its been 5 hours, it shouldn't take more then a min to add this type of attribute come on, counter intuitive 100% you win that one

Not sure what is so unintuitive about going to the main Tutorials/FAQs page, looking at the FAQ Categories list, and clicking on "Setting up products and attributes"...

I grant that some tutorials are hard to find even if you know they are there, but not this one.
