Prices by attributes selected updates other attributes within the same page

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've been here. I'm currently working on this site:

Customer wants the site to work like this one:

When you choose Form Type: (2 Part, 3 Part, etc) the Qty: Changes based on the Form Type selection.

Is that even possible using zen-cart out of the box if not, do you know of a plugin that can be used to make this or something similar to happen?

Sorry, no, and no. Zencart doesn't support dependent attributes and there's no mod to add that function.

There may be a workaround here: http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...f-an-attribute

I haven't tried it and it may depend on how many attributes you have.

Hi again, I've tried installing the Stock By Attribute plugin but it does not show up in the admin.

This is what I've installed:

I'm running zen-cart version: v1.5.1

I've followed the instructions on the readme file but nothing. Any ideas?

I don't think that version of SBA works with Zencart version 1.5.

Search the forums for "stock by attributes" for a link to a new beta version for 1.5.

I haven't used either.

I'm trying it just, you need to set the Admin Page Registration to the following values

Page Key - stockbyattribute
Page Name - BOX_CATALOG_PRODUCTS_WITH_ATTRIBUTES_STOCK
File Name - FILENAME_PRODUCTS_WITH_ATTRIBUTES_STOCK
Page Parameters -
Menu - Catalog
Display on Menu - enable
Sort Order - 50

and the Products with Attributes Stock will appear in your Catalog menu
