Categories and manufacturers tab

I have spent a lot of time trying to do something simple... I think!! When I click on manufacturers or categories, in the centre section it lists the products below a heading box with links to sort by item name and item price. The colour of these is the same as all the other links on my page, which is no good as due to the colour of the background below these links being the same as the colour of the link text. I want to keep all the other links on the site the same colour as what they are now and just change the a hover a visited and a link params for item name and item price. How do I do this in the stylesheet.
