    Default Discounted Attributes?

Thanks in advance for any advice on this one. I am using v.1.3.9h

I have a product that is priced by attributes. The attributes are options that are selected by check boxes. My problem is that I would like, the price of the attributes to reduce, the more options are selected. for example:

The price of any option is £50 if only 1x option is selected.
£48 if 2x options are selected
£46 if 3x options are selected
    and so on...

The quantity discount feature would be perfect for this if only it could be focused on attribute quantity, rather than the product quantity.

Has anyone had any experience of this type of mod/hack that could achieve this, or any idea of where to start.

This angle would hopefully get round the need for the holy grail that is "dependent attributes".

I look forward to any comments you may have.

What you are describing is exactly that
Depends upon the # of options selected

Thanks for your contribution Kobra. I am trying to explore utilising a native function in Zen Cart to perform this basic type dependency. I was hoping my angle would get the creative juices flowing beyond "Zen Cart doesn't support that!" which is the frequently featured punch line to any post with "attributes" in the title

I've seen dependent attributes being hacked together with javascript headers and DIV wrappers, but do you think this could be a cleaner alternative in this case?
