Hello Everyone

I am new to your forum and just want to say hello. I have done a couple of Zen Cart installations (nothing very fancy) and now want to do a customized Zen Cart store for my niece.....which means I have to create a template. I am glad to know you guys are here!

I do have web design and programmer experience so I expect no problem with the CSS - But there ARE questions floating around my head! And before I start posting, I plan on looking thru the "stickies" and download the e-book today. Is there anything else I need to do before I begin this project?

Yes, and create a test Zencart site where you can test mods and styling without messing up your niece's site. 'The Book' is great, but won't help you with templating. Look at http:/(sorry, site offline) to see what you can get for free to start with.
