Problem with 'from' address in e-mails sent from store

Hi,
I've recently installed ZenCart and have had pretty good success, but one thing puzzles me. E-mails from the store show up with a 'from' address like this:

Me <[email protected]>

The E-mail Address (sent from) is set to: [email protected]
The store name is "Third-Floor-Please!" and the store owner is "Store". I thought the store owner would show where I see "Me". I don't know where the "Me" came from.

When I change the E-mail Address (sent from) to: store <[email protected]> the 'from' address shows up like this:

Store <Store <"info"@third-floor-please.com>>

This makes no sense to me. Any ideas?

I'm using SMTP on a LINUX server with PHP 5.3 and MySQL 5.0

relay-hosting.secureserver.net is the proper relay server to use to send emails from Go Daddy shared hosting and is required to be able to send emails from your shared hosting account.

Are you using gmail or google apps gmail as your mail client?


That's how it shows up if you bcc yourself on emails.

Try sending yourself a test email to another of your email accounts. When I send to a 'fake' customer account, it shows properly, but I also have it bcc my info@storename and it shows as 'me'.

The "Me" name comes from your email client, not from Zen Cart.
