    Default Footer Frustration

I’d like to make some simple changes to the Footer. For some reason I am finding this area confusing, despite reading a lot about it.

I finally found something that told me to go to this file and I was able to make some changes :

    includes/languages/english/extra_defintions/piccadilly_posh/footer_menu_defines.php

I removed some links I didn’t want. What I would like to do now is move some links from one column to another and rearrange the order in which the links appear. Example: Move Shipping & Returns to Information, and move My Account to the first position under Customer Support.

I would also like to move Gift Certificates from column 4 to column 3, and remove column 4 entirely. How can I realign the footer so everything is centered once I go down to 3 columns?

    Thank you.

    Default Re: Footer Frustration

The Footer Menu mod is set up for a certain layout, and I believe you have to edit files and move code around to change that.
You might try EZ-Pages Footer Columns instead; it makes the arrangement (number of columns, which link goes in which column and in what order) purely by giving each ez-page (or link) a footer sort order when editing it. It can also be greatly customized with headings, notes, etc. by editing a define file.
