    This sort of customization info is not included in the readme.html file. This question has been asked and answered many times here on the forum, and a simple search would find the answer.

    Go to admin--cataglog--product types--edit layout

    Hello,
    we are in the middle of releasing our web site and your template is excellent choice for our future development. Also I like to thank you for providing free great looking and functional templates.
    However, our problem is that index and any other pages (products, contact me, all pages... etc) with your template installed after approximately 6500 products in DB are extending on the bottom with huge empty blank space.

    We did fallowing;
    1. Template was installed step by step according to your instructions.
    2. We test the issue on our live server (Lunarpages), additional test server, and twice on our localhost internal server, with fresh installation and brand new DB. Result is same after approximately 6500 products bottom of all pages extends.
    3. Using Navicat software DB has been reduced gradually step by step from 15000 to 6500 products in where your template performed with out any problems.
    4. We also tested some of your additional templates; Sheffield Blue, Bradford Pure, Yorkshire Clean, Preston Elite, Lancaster Lux, Cambridge Pro with apsolutely same results, it does extends page after aproximately 6500 products, the only one that did not have that issue is All Business template which does not fit our needs.
    5. We downloaded and tested several randomly selected templates from few different websites with out any problems. Performance was perfect including default Zen Cart classic template.

    Please let me know if you need any additional info.

    I don't think that the problem has anything to do with the number of products you have. It looks like you have made some customizations to the template. The problem is not in the template demo, so it must be related to your customizations. I would recommend back tracking through your changes until you find where the problem started. I have never heard of an issue with number of products used with any of the free template packages.

    Running the site through the w3c html validator throws lots of errors which are not present in the demo such as missing tags like </div>, </li>, </ul>,</a> etc. There are also some css errors like float:auto, etc. I would start by fixing these.

    I tried the validator on my site and found a lot of unescaped ampersands but nothing that I could see how to fix the problem that is now plaguing my site. This past week I finally got my site back from the error strewn install of Dover that made my life hell these past few weeks but I am missing the deeper layers of the site, I'm missing the individual products. They are in the database (phew) but they don't display once past the category level ... NADA. Any suggestions on how to find what is the problem? I have re-uploaded all new core files and still the same issue ... the site does not recognize the call for the product display.

    The problems that you are describing are not inherent in the templates. From your description, the cause could be any number of errors that you have made. I would recommend checking your error logs and correcting any problems.

    This is my latest error log. I don't understand it as when I compared a newly downloaded Bristol Lace template the file that is in the error message isn't part of Bristol Lace but rather part of Dover.
