Changing content of welcome email?

Hi folks. Is there a way to change the content of the welcome email? If so please tell me which file to edit.

Basically I need to remove the text highlighted in blue since no one in their right mind would purchase our products as a birthday present.

Dear Mr. xxxxx,

We wish to welcome you to International Manufacturing Services, Inc. (IMS).

You are now registered with our store and have account privileges: With your account, you can now take part in the various services we have to offer you. Some of these many services include:

Order History - View the details of orders you have completed with us.

Permanent Cart - Any products added to your online cart remain there until you remove them, or check them out.

Address Book - We can deliver your products to an address other than yours!
This is perfect to send birthday gifts direct to the birthday-person themselves.

Products Reviews - Share your opinions on our products with other customers.

If you go to your Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and in the bottom box enter some of the text in that email, such as:
Permanent Cart

and select Catalog ... then click SEARCH ...

It will show you the file with the text definition .... you can copy that file to your templates and overrides directory and change the text as you need it to read ...

Hi Ajeh,

I changed the format of my email in the email folder of my store, however, when I placed them on the overrides directly they don't show up!

This is the structure I used:

catalog/email/My Template

Is this the correct format? Please note that when I just replaced the html files they all look ok.

At this time, the emails themselves do not have overrides, but if they use language files and such those would ...
