Testers required- New issue and I don't know why

Hi . I have been using Zen for a few months now without any issues. However something has changed, and I don't know why or how. Potential customers contact me that they have problems logging in and checking out, but are vague about where the issue is. When I test it there appears to be no issues, and I can check out using my test account and create a new account. Could I please get some of you to see if you can create a login account, or purchase the "test" item from my site. The web site is www.knicknacs.com.au the test item is under the "everything else" category. Thanks in advance.

I did come across a problem with the checkout on your site, but no problems logging in.

The checkout issue that I noted doesn't appear to be consistant, and may not even be the same as what your customers are complaining of, but nonetherless the problem I noted was that upon hitting the checkout button I was greeted with the following message:

"Your available shipping options have changed. Please re-select your desired shipping method."
Not Available At This Time

Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.
Please contact us for alternate arrangements.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Unless I'm mistaken, any item that isn't eligible for free shipping is going to produce this error on account of the fact that you don't appear to have a suitable shipping module installed for such items.

I could be way off the mark though.

Hi Rod. Thank you for your feedback. I only ship within Australia atm, so if you are outside of Oz that would be the correct message. Could you give me your location please so I can work out if I have a problem or not.

You're barking up the wrong tree. I didn't change my location during testing, only the product(s), some of which clearly showed Free shipping, and it appears those without the free shipping are the problematic ones.

The only thing I can't easily determine is which of your products have free shipping, and which one's don't, so for me it is a bit of a crap-shoot as to whether I'll get the error or not.

It should be quite easy for you to duplicate armed with this information.

Thanks again Rod. I did some tinkering on the shipping modules. Could I perhaps ask you to try and purchase http://knicknacs.com.au/billfold-lea...t?cPath=23_24& ( not free shipping) and perhaps http://knicknacs.com.au/everything-e...-pen?cPath=69& ( free shipping.) I think it may be the " store pickup" module that is causing the issues ( now disabled) and as I am obviously in the store pickup zone, I have not got the same errors as you have. Thanks in advance

Current tests show:
Pen - no go.
Wallet - OK (using zone rates).

Previous test was:
Pen - OK (Free shipping)
Wallet - No Go.

Whatever you just did has changed the effects. You need to find the right combination to make them both OK at the same time.

I'm guessing "zones".

Thanks Rod. It is sorted ( at least my testing shows it). It was indirectly due to a shipping module that I installed that also uploaded a whole heap of zones that I had not noticed as they were over the page . duh!!. I only discovered them when I decided to uninstall all the modules and re install them. All appears back to normal but if you could ( pretty please) test again when you have a chance. Much appreciated. :-)
