turn sidebox addons on and off, depending on if its category or product page

I am trying to figure out how to turn something on and off depending on whether its a category product page, or a product information display page? Is this possible?

I want to turn everything except the categories off for this page: http://o-pd.com/zencart/index.php?ma...e=products_new

I want to turn the categories off and everything else on for this page: http://o-pd.com/zencart/index.php?ma...products_id=54

Can somebody help me? I savy with php so I just need to know what to add where, I'm guessing a conditional somewhere in there, I just don't know the syntax for identifying it as a category page, or product info page...

If your template monster template does not interfere

For your products_new page
Create in your template a folder named "products_new" at
includes/templates/theme640/products_new

In it place a copy of tpl_main_page.php

Read the comments at the top of the file and edit it to display what you want - save and load to the above location

This will not work for your specific cat/product page issue
