    I'm looking for a way to not display the list of categories down the side of a single page.

    The reason is we've put together a list of non-profit rescue organizations and don't want to have our "buy our stuff" right in their face.

    Here's the page I need to change "https://loveofthehorse.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=14"

    It would be ok to have our newsletter, blog, and information showing, just not the list of categories. My guess is that if I knew the right file I could filter with an if its not this page then display statement.

    Thanks for any assistance

    Just turn off the categories sidebox in admin--tools--layout boxes controller

    Thanks,

    Anne

    Please could you tell me how to change the subcategories text to a different colour.

    Ive found a place that changes the font to a different colour ....

    /*bof basic elements*/
    a img {border: none;}
    a:link, #navEZPagesTOC ul li a {color:#444443;text-decoration:none;}

    but it doesnt just confine the change of colour to just the subcategories, a number of the categories change with it. I loaded firebug but I dont have any css knowledge and it isnt obvious what to change.

    Wanting to do this because I have a category with a lot of subcategories.

    Current live site is www.tidytoys.co.uk which displays the subcategories how I want
    and my future upgraded version of this site using Sheffield Blue is at www.keel-toys.co.uk

    Add a rule for a.category-products{color:your color;} to the stylesheet.css file.

    Thanks,

    Thank you, that was a lot easier than I thought.

    Please could you tell me if the template always displays 9 products or is there a setting in admin I have missed.

    Also, one of the things I would like to do is display random chosen products (like my current live site).
    Is that possible or is it a big change to coding to do this ?

    Regards
    Sue
