making a Zen Ventures contribution

I tried to make a "one-time" PayPal contribution but got an inscrutable big red "required". Huh! What's required? How do I get beyond that prompt to PayPal to donate the money? This would be a one-time contribution until I advertize the site -link to it from Facebook, etc.- to inform the world of its existence and actually generate sales. But there's still some fine-tuning to do; for example my question in this forum regarding background imagery.

The only "red required error" I get is when I try to Continue without first entering a donation amount.
