Popup Window

Hi all;

I was wondering if there is an add on for a popup window that will open
when someone lands on the main page of my site that will advertise a
sale?
I installed Simple Popup, but was not able to get it working, possibly
due to it is for 1.3.9 version of Zen Cart.

Any ideas would be most appreciated

PopUps are a sure-fire way to ANNOY your customers (research proves this) and besides... MOST people configure their browsers to BAN popups.

Far better to just put a message on your home page (define_main_page.php - through define pages editor in admin), with a direct link to the offer.

I ended up just putting an advert in a sidebox
