Adding Telephone Number To Header An Line up

Please could you kindly tell me how to add some text just under the "Search Bar" in my header section????
I would like to add some bold text underneath, including our telephone number etc. It looks as though there is too much white space.

You should be able to use the tagline (sales message).

I should have explained that i had tried your method before. Unfortunately adding the text i require to the header.php (Salestext) results in the text being placed underneath my logo (the left hand side) and not to the right as i would like.

I searched in the CSS and altered the #tagline from align=left too align=right which results in what my website is now showing.....
The text will not go over the leftside or halfway.

Any help appreciated
