How to set shipping to the USA.

Hi, I've got a site that works well shipping to UK address, but if I get someone from the USA place an order it comes up saying the shipping is the same as in the UK??

I've not set a diff amount for the USA shipping because I don't know how to. This is what I would like help with. I am using the per item to work out shipping as I'm selling comic books so they all weigh about the same and it just adds 30p per book added. Is there a way I can set this for the US?

LOTS of help and advice already on shipping configurations on this forum. You could also buy the user manual as it explains how to set up zones and apply these to shipping modules.

You could clone the Item Rate item shipping module ... then, build a Zone Definition for the UK and one for the US where each has the DETAILS set to limit the shipping to the UK and the US ...

would find examples for you ...
