    Default Installed Theme Not Visible/Accessible

    Hi Guys,

    ZC: 1.5.0
    Hosting Prov.: TTP Wholesale
    FTP Client: Filezilla
    Theme Template: Template Monster

I'm a first time user with Zen Cart so I'm uncertain if i've done something wrong with the install or whether I'm just missing something.

I installed Zen Cart via the cPanel and Fantastico De Lux. This all seemed to complete successfully. Not sure if it matters but I didn't install Zen Cart into the root directory but instead root/theme/

I then uploaded my template theme into the 'includes/templates/' folder (no failed transfers).

However, when I log into the Zen Cart admin section then go to 'tools>template selection', my theme isn't there to be selected. The only theme you can select from is the default 'classic contemporary green'.

Thought it might have been the file permissions but the default & installed template have identical permissions.

I'm lost on this one. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It's hard to troubleshoot Template Monster templates, but was there an installation guide included ? Most non-TM templates are installed to the root of the store, rather than to the templates folder.

The admin template selection dropdown is built from template_info.php files in the root folder of the template, for example includes/templates/classic/template_info.php. Check for includes/templates/YOUR_TM_TEMPLATE_NAME/template_info.php.

Thanks stevesh! Legendary! I still installed the theme into the templates folder, a pose to the root directory but found 2 theme folders. Just added the folder with the 'template_info.php' file as per your advise.

    Worked a charm. Thanks again.
