This add-on allows the admin/owner the ability to display the retail outlets at which their product is available for purchase.

It allows the admin/owner to set
  • The Retail Outlets Status - Enter 0 for Inactive, 1 for active. The Retail Outlet will not display unless active. Required
  • The name of the Retail Outlet - This is sorted alphabetically so if you have several outlets with like names, add the street name to sort them by location. Required
  • The Retail Outlet Address - Allows mobile phone users to click on the address for directions. Required
  • A secondary address for suite number. Optional
  • The city the Retail Outlet is in. Required
  • The state the Retail Outlet is in. Required
  • The zip code of the Retail Outlet. Optional
  • The phone number of the Retail Outlet. Optional
  • individually enter the hours for each day Sunday thru Saturday. Optional
  • Comments about the Retail Outlet. Optional
  • A link to a map with driving directions. We recommend Google Maps and their share setting. Clicking SHARE brings up a box. Click on the Short URL option and copy the Short URL to the Retail Outlet form. This will cause the map to open in a new browser window. Optional

If no information is entered into an optional column, that column will not appear on the Retail Outlets Page.

This is a munged version of the Scheduled Events Mod and adds both the Scheduled Events and Retail Outlets headings to the Information sidebox. Directions are in the mod files if you are not using scheduled events and need to remove it from the Information Sidebox.

A read_me file and an installation/user's guide are included in the zip. The add-on consists of two folders One folder (includes) holds the files that Retail Outlets will need to work. The include folder files should be loaded according to the instructions included in the zip file. The retailz folder should be copied to the root directory of your site. Be sure to follow all the instructions in the Installation Guide.

This mod was developed on 1.5.5 but should be backwardly compatible as far as 1.3.9
