Thanks, I have added the code to the index_home.css file. It removed the box just above the footer menu but the partial page is still there. There is no space between the footer and the homepage layout like here in the screenshot.

You will have to adjust the position of the slide show to your liking using css.

Still no luck sure would of loved to use this awesome plugin but some of us just aren't as educated as others with this coding and stuff. Seems like I will just have to keep learning as I go and maybe I will get this types of things down the line but for now I'm lost lol. I must admit though it gets a little tough when everything you know about coding is self taught.

I would strongly recommend using firefox and installing the firebug web developers tool. With this tool you can see all of the stylesheets used in the demo. I also recommend the css tutorials over at the w3c schools website.
