Text attribute to show on Product listing

Hi there,

I am struggling trying to fix for my customer the Text Attribute to show on product listing.
The website is a catalog for a wholesale company and the agents are showing the products to shop owners and distributors using the "all products" page mostly.
They are placing the orders using the general "add to cart" after fixing quantity to the products that they want from each page.
We are not using an add to cart button for each product separately.

I installed the flexible product listing mod but couldn't tweak it to work for text attribute.
The fact is that I need to fix text attribute for all of the products (over 1000 items - usually around 300-400 in stock) so if they give a special price on a certain product to a customer they can add the comment per product but it would be too much to go into each product's info page.

Please help me!

That will require custom PHP programming. There is a thread in the forum where rbarbour got attributes to show in the product listing (not the All Products page) which may give you a starting place.
