Pending address redirect

Hello,

I am attempting to redirect some of my paypal orders that are currently being sorted into the pending folder to the processing folder. The orders in question are the ones that are receiving the "Payment Status: Pending (address)" notification.

These orders eventually make their way to the processing folder after the address has been verified. However I would like to find a way to skip the middle step of the order being sent to pending folder and just have them go straight to processing. I have a feeling the answer may be somewhere in the ipn_main_handler.php file but I don't want to mess around with that too much until I'm sure. Thanks for any advice in advance.

But .. "processing" means "payment completed, order is able to be shipped". And "pending address verification" means YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONEY.

Hm interesting. When I check my paypal account it says that the payment is confirmed for all of the orders with "pending address verification". Usually the address is pending for a few seconds before it is confirmed. The problem is that the order stays in the pending folder after the address is confirmed.

If you've configured your PayPal settings to wait for address verification confirmation, then after the address has been validated (which is usually a manual step on your part), then PayPal sends a notification to your store about the confirmation, thus automatically upgrading the order's status to Processing.

So, either the address status is doing something different, or the incoming IPN is failing because its integrity can't be authenticated properly. This latter would be evident in PayPal debug logs if you have debug logging enabled in your Zen Cart PayPal module's settings. Of course, all of this requires that you have IPN enabled in your PayPal account.

Thanks for the information. It looks like I had yet to enable the IPN. Hopefully it will work now.
