Sort Order for order total modules.

I just need confirmation that this sort order for my order total modules makes sense, and will result in correct calculations across the board.

Can somebody please comment on this sort order:

1. sub total
2. reward points redeemed
3. shipping
4. discount coupons
5. group discount
6. tax
7. total
8. reward points earned

Does this make sense? Thanks for the help.

Shipping should have been after the discount mods, that cost us quite a bit of $$ today.

Anybody else have any input? Anything I'm missing here?

I am having an issue as well. I have tried changing the sort numbers, but the page is still not lining them up.


I'd like to see them lined up:

sub total
group discount
quantity discount
discount code
Simple BOGO/Better together (I use them at separate times)
tax
priority handling
shipping
gift certificates
total

That site looks like a magento shop to me, by looking at the html source, and the favicon.

That site looks like a magento shop to me, by looking at the html source, and the favicon.

the favicon does not look like a magento favicon to me... but i have not seem the latest versions of magento. the source code DOES look like ZC.

The visual presentation and the mathematical sequence are two different things. Lining them up visually is an html/css issue. If the calculations are coming out as you expect then suggest looking at the template aspect. The issue identified at the root of this thread had nothing to do with display but instead the various costs to the customer which turned into losses to the store owner.

Don't be surprised if this thread gets split out a little because of the difference in topics between the two issues now discussed.

As to why I didn't offer a css correction, well, on a cell phone where identifying the applicable css is difficult at best, let alone going through the entire account process to get to the confirmation screen where there are options requested to be in a sequence that are not likely to be available at that point (gift certificates for example).

I have fixed this issue,it was in the CSS. Thanks for responding. It is a ZC shop. 1.5.4
