In the middle of setting up a fresh install and I have somehow gotten a search field and button on the bottom left of the screen. When I lengthened the search box in the header this search box also grew in length if that info helps at all.
How do I remove this?

Do you have both the header search and sidebox search enabled in Admin - Tools - Layout Boxes Controller ?

Yes I do, I have the search sidebox in the right column just outside the picture.
