How do I set a product to stay in my shop after it sells?

Hello
I would like to ask. How do I have a product go to the sold out status after a product in my shop sells? This means the product will remain visible on my web site but will become un-available for purchase.

So all my products are set to Qty 1 because I actually have one product for each listing I make on my site.

Once a product is bought from my site the product is set to Qty 0, out of stock. The product vanishes from my site. I can log into my admin and change the sold product to out of stock with a Qty of 1 which activates the product on my site but gives anyone inability to purchase it.

So can I set this to automatically occur? or do I have to log in and change the settings for the previously sold product to QTY 1, out of stock.

in youe admin go to configuration => stock => Show Out of Stock Attributes, and set the value to true

I went into configuration and found this

product status in catalogue when ou of stock shoudl be set to

0 set product status to OFF

or

1 set product status to ON


I set that to 1 should this be ok?
