Language issues

Hello, hopefully somebody can point me in the right direction. I am a beginner with all things Zen Card.

I have my shop running in in german and english and in the admin area I get different menu items for different languages.
In the english version i have under "configuration" 10 or more subnav items but in the german version just one.
Please see attached screengrab.

Would be awesome if anybody would have an idea where to start looking to fix this...

did you install the right version of the German language pack? You need the ons for Zen cart 1.5
