RSS Feed Help Please

Hello fellow Zen Cart users...I have a couple of questions about adding custom fields within the rss feed for each product and excluding a couple catagories sections. I have created custom fields in the product section of the admin, but want these fields to show in the rss feed. I want to add vin#, miles, engine, etc. for each product. Also I would like to know how to exclude my sold inventory catagory and my coming soon catagory. I just need to know what file's need to be edited and if I need to add a sql statement in the database.
