I couldn't find this answer - I just upgraded my hosting PHP from 5.2 to 5.5 - when I try to bring up my page - I just get a blank screen. However, I have an older cart on 1.3 and it comes up just fine. Can 1.5 run on PHP5? Thanks for any help.

I'm not seeing any errors today that are outlined in the link you sent me - in the log there are no errors as a matter of fact.
So back to my question - can v1.5 run with PHP5? My problem stemmed from changing my PHP version from PHP4 to PHP5 - I changed my PHP version back to PHP4 and my site runs perfectly.
Any thoughts?
V1.5.x requires PHP 5.2+ to run properly:

I should be more clear on the exact version of PHP I need to be at for other applications - right now I'm on PHP5.2 and with my hosting plan - I can change it to PHP5.3. Version PHP5.2 allows my v1.5 ZenCart to work perfectly - when I change my PHP version to PHP5.3 - ZenCart 1.5 does not work.
Any ideas?
Thanks - Jeff
I've just upgraded to ZenCart 1.5.1 and change PHP version to 5.3 and I still have the same problem where the front page does not display oddly I can login into Admin page without a problem.
Zen Cart 1.3.9h, 1.5.0, and 1.5.1 all work out of box in my test environments under PHP 5.2 and 5.3. I have a couple test environments running under PHP 5.4 - and after disabling strict error reporting I have not had any major issues.Version PHP5.2 allows my v1.5 ZenCart to work perfectly - when I change my PHP version to PHP5.3 - ZenCart 1.5 does not work.
Any ideas?
Check all your plugins and modifications to see if they are PHP 5.3 safe. The link was intended more for people writing plugins, but will not be a bad starting place. The instructions in the "how to fix blank pages" should also help - keep in mind however FATAL PHP errors if present can sometimes show up in the web server's error log (if enabled) instead of the Zen Cart debug logs.
The glass is not half full. The glass is not half empty. The glass is simply too big!
Where are the Zen Cart Debug Logs? Where are the HTTP 500 / Server Error Logs?

Try switching to the classic template and see if it displayschange PHP version to 5.3 and I still have the same problem
if so - then look to your desired template's override files
