Hi,

How can I make the specials automatically show on my homepage without customers having to click the specials button?

admin > config > index listing > Show Special Products on Main Page

That allows you to show specials on homepage but I want the specials to show when page loads, not when tab is clicked, tab is already shown on homepage.

It shows them in the cwenter column

Switch to the classic template and see what displays
If they display then look to your template
