Dennis, I sure hope you've found the answer since awhile since this was asked. Once you create your coupon, on the right click restrictions. Add the item you want to allow/deny and click update. You can also do this for entire categories if there are many to list. I believe you can also do the reverse and restrict all categories but allow specific items. I haven't tested that yet.
