Changing the default sort for displaying ALL PRODUCTS

Hi,

Is there away that I can change the default on ALL PRODUCTS so when they display on the homepage, they show as the most recent product added not Product Name as they are now, then I have to choose from the drop down list Date Added - New to Old.

configuration->All_listing->Display Product Display - Default Sort Order = 6 (descending) or 7 (ascending)
