Website Error check software?

Hi,

Is there any software/program out there that can scan our whole site and notify us of any errors? We recently had a redirect loop error on lots of products and it has only just been fixed. Is there anything that can scan for these types of errors?

I would say (apart from obviously fixing any debug errors):
1) eliminate all the html and javascript errors that you have introduced
2) use the google webmaster tools to help identify problem pages
3) log the page parse times for a while, see if any are unusually long
4) make it easy for customers to report a fault...maybe one of those pull-out side tabs... that's almost on my to-do list.

...no doubt the more experienced will weigh in with more tools.
