How to change the base weight??

Hello. I'm sure this was already answered but can't find it!!! Spent about 40 minutes looking so just going to ask.

I generally use flat rate but thanks to the jump in USPS prices, it can no longer be done with overseas shipping.

If a product weighs .50lbs, it gets rung up as 3.50 pounds for shipping purposes...that's what the latest release module does or is it some other setting in Zen?

If the product weighs 1 pound, it will be 4.00 when figuring the cost to ship via the usps module.

Any help?
