Can I propagate 'price per word' to other products in same category?

I have an option name "baby Name" (TEXT input) I allow one name free and every other name I charge. I don't know how to copy this attribute to other products in the same category. Because it has no option value I can't use the option name manager or the option values manager.

Can anyone point me to some info? I have searched the forum and could not find anything pertinent to this topic. Maybe my search parameters are incorrect.

Are you able to use the Attributes Controller to Copy Attributes to a Category?

I use the category/product screen to copy products and attributes to create a new product replacing stuff with new product info. Yes I can copy but only one at a time. I have 400+ products to copy. Is there a way to batch copy the attributes?

Are you trying to add the Attributes to ALL of the Products in a Category?

Yes. To all products in a category.

If you go to the Attributes Controller ... make 1 Product with the Attribute that you want to copy to all other Products for the Category ...

Then, hit the Copy to Category and select the Category to copy the Attribute(s) to ... this will then copy the Attributes to all of the Products in that Category ...

NOTE: Make a backup of your database before using things like this ...
