Shopping Cart Max Qty problem on my 1.3.9h, please help!

Hi all,

I am still using 1.3.9h, since our server PHP is not 5.3.x so can't install the 1.5.x version!

I hope anyone who know the 1.3.9h shopping cart qty. bugs can help me how to fix this.

Here are my processing...

1. Login to back end add a new products
2. On the Product Qty Maximum: from 0 change to 2
3. Save it

Okay,

Then go to front end choose the new product just add before.

This time it will be auto add to 1 and bring you to the shopping cart page!
Ok, if you manual change the number from 1 to 2.
It will show a error
The quantity added to your cart has been adjusted because of a restriction on maximum you are allowed. See this item:

Mean it can't change to 2, but if you on the first time choose buy two of this, it will work.
How to fix the php? Which files control this?

Please note that 1.5.x does not require PHP 5.3 or later; it runs just fine on PHP 5.3, 5.4 and more recent PHP 5.2.x versions, too. It's the earlier versions (like v1.3.8 and v1.3.9) that will have issues on PHP v5.3 and later, not the other way around!

Unfortunately we've discovered a problem:

The PHP version you are using (5.2.5) is too old, and this version of Zen Cart® cannot be used. You need to upgrade your server to the latest version of PHP.
This version of Zen Cart® requires an absolute minimum of PHP version 5.2.14
It is recommended to use the latest version of PHP 5.3.xx.
