    Default HTMLarea Recommendations?

Morning/Afternoon all. Only just dawn on me the other day that the latest zen cart seems to have dropped the HTMLarea option in the admin. Hadnt noticed as I very rarely use it, however usedd to find it useful for creating EZ pages etc.

What was the reason for it being removed and is there any mods that do not changed a load of core code that can be used in its place?

    Thanks

HTMLArea was removed because it's buggy and somewhat insecure. The consensus is that the CKE Editor (available in Plugins) is the best alternative.

Does it modify many core files?

Ok cool. Ill take a look :) sick of merging on this site gets silly after a while!

If I had any Critsism with zencart is module intergration. If it were like Wordpress where you could have one click installs it would be perfecto :)

Well if ZenCart only had to deal with postings then maybe they could be simpler
