Default Where is my admin folder?

On a related front, I just installed ZC 1.5.1 (manual). The initial instructions referred to an "admin" folder which did not exist. There was a zc-install folder, but no admin folder. In order to get through the warnings in the manual installation, I created an "admin" folder and added subfolders backups, images, and includes as instructed. That allowed the installation to proceed to the point where user is instructed to change the name of the "admin" folder to something more secure. At this point I had a "zc_install folder" and an "admin" folder with empty subfolders in it. So now there is a site (mysite.com/estore) but if I try to go to mysite.com/estore/secret_admin (tried lots of ways) or mysite.com/estore/secret_zc_install, I just go back to the initial installation screens as if ZC had not yet been installed at all.

    Ideas?

    Thanks!

Um ... well, the Zen Cart "zip file" always contains the "admin" folder, just like it contains the "zc_install" folder you mentioned.

So, where did you get your zip file from? And when you unzipped it, did you tell it to make sure it retained all the subdirectories properly while unzipping?

I just tested the official download zip and it indeed still contains the "admin" folder as expected.
Not sure how you got to the point of not having an admin folder, but that's where you need to start.

I created an "admin" folder and added subfolders backups, images, and includes as instructed.
Exactly where in the instructions did you find this??
