On the zc_install screen, it should show you the db info at the top of the inspection screen. Does it show the correct prefix there?
If the upgrade button isn't showing, then it's not able to find the Zen Cart tables in the database you specified in DB_XXXXX settings in the /includes/configure.php file.
And your current site is apparently unable to connect to the database. Are you messing with a live site, instead of staging your upgrade in a test environment first?

Your database credentials have not been specified correctly.
Add the &debug=ON parameter to your URL after you get to that inspect page, like the following, and press Enter to reload the page:
zc_install/index.php?main_page=inspect&debug=ON
At the top of the page you'll see your database credentials listed and an error message saying it could not connect using the credentials provided.
Once you give it valid database credentials it will work fine..

Exactly.
Fix the DB_XXXXX credentials in your /includes/configure.php file.
Clearly they're wrong, because even your storefront says the database cannot connect..

Now been able to get the UPGRADE button to appear and have upgraded this.
Site www.irishshopper.ie appears fine but cannot get in to the admin area.
Note have changed permissions of two configure files to 444 and renamed admin folder admin1 but www.irishshopper.ie/admin1 get the standard ZenCart error screen.
