    Default Need a little help

I want to add a facebook and twitter buttons to my website. I want it to show up on each page at the right side of my website above the information sidebox or even in the information sidebox. Can anyone tell me which file I would put the link code into to make this happen?

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks. The "blank sidebox" plugin I found only has to version 1.3.7, but I found a Facebook-Twitter Module plugin. I downloaded it and got the instructions but have a few questions on what exactly to do, as I am a little lost. Can you help? Sorry for all the questions but I am a struggling novice. Have a friend who has promised to help me for 10 months, but so far no help.

    1. Replace "http://www.facebook.com/YOUR-FACEBOOK-HERE" with your facebook link page. Where do I put this?
    2. Replace "http://twitter.com/YOUR-TWITTER-HERE" with your twitter link page. Where do I put this?
    3. Copy 2 images given in zip file into (your-zencart-store-root)/images/social/ Where do I find?: (your-zencart-store-root)/images/social/
    4. Login into your admin section and go Tools > Layout Boxes Controller ...

    5. Copy "social.php" into (your-zencart-store-root)/includes/modules/sideboxes/
    6. Enable the "Social.php" module. How do I enable this module?

Open the file /includes/modules/sideboxes/social.php and read
    3. Copy 2 images given in zip file into (your-zencart-store-root)/images/social/ Where do I find?: (your-zencart-store-root)/images/social/
If you have FTP'd the includes folder that came with this them your new images have also been copied

Also, the Blank Sidebox mod works fine with the current Zencart version.

Still stuck. A couple of more questions.

You said: Open the file /includes/modules/sideboxes/social.php and read. There is not social.php in sideboxes. Where do I find it and how do I install it?

You said: (your-zencart-store-root)/images/social/ . There is no social folder or file in the images folder. Where do I find it and how do I install it?

    Thanks again.

    but I found a Facebook-Twitter Module plugin
They are in the download set of files that you should have FTP'd to your server

So should I use the Blank Sidebox Plugin or the Facebook-Twitter Module Plugin? What's the difference?

I downloaded the files, but where do I put them in the FTP? ie: which file or folder does the download go into?

Also is there a difference between using the Blank Sidebox plugin and the Fecebook-Twitter Module Plugin? I also want to add a youtube link as well. How do I do that?

Blank Sidebox is a blank container for you to put whatever links or code you want in. The Social sidebox already has this code, but you need to replace chunks of the generic links with your particular links. Either will do the job; I would stick with what you have as I think the generic example links will be helpful for you.

If the mod is well-built, you only need to FTP the whole /includes/ folder in the package into your store's root folder (the folder that already has /images/, /includes/, etc. folders in it). This will drop the new files into the right places.
