question about uploading the template

If I design a template on the local computer, how can I know which files or file folders should be uploaded? I just know the file folder templates/my templates is one of them. How about other images, PHP and CSC?

All of your custom template files will be in one of the MY_TEMPLATE folders, which can be created anywhere you see a CLASSIC folder, at the same level.

Go grab one of the FREE TEMPLATES in the plugins section and study their folder/file structure. That should give you an idea of what is needed.

Just like we download some templates which not only includes templates/CUSTOM folder also some other folders, which should be replaced in the related folders. So assume I wanna send the template to my friend someday, I should send all of these folders (not only templates/CUSTOM), right? Then how can I know/remenber which folders are necessary to my custom template?

Could be I'm missing something, but the simplest way would be to just save the zip file you downloaded for the template and share that with your friend (assuming you can do so legally).
